Emma has been route setting professionally for 8 years now, with a mixture of route and boulder setting she is one of very few women in this profession. She has set for various competitions including CWIF, BLCC’s, an International women’s comp in Utrecht and various local competitions.

The main walls she sets for include White Spider, Red Spider, Green Spider, Lakeland Climbing Cetntre Walls in London and Kendal, Stronghold, Bouldershack, The Boardroom, Boulderhut, Awesome Walls Sheffield, Boulder Brighton, Chimera, Oakwood, Flashpoint and Redpoint.

She is best known for setting a style that is similar to being outdoors with challenges at all grades, the movement is technical with interesting sequences. She has a wealth of experience to draw on and has run some route setting courses through Creative Climbing with head setter Evie Cotrulia.
